Food intolerance testing

"

Food intolerance differs from true food allergy. Allergic reactions are immediate and obvious; intolerance reactions are slow and accumulative, often appearing hours or days after the trigger food was eaten. That delay makes intolerances notoriously difficult to detect by elimination diet alone — laboratory testing is the most reliable way to identify them.

How it works

We use the Fitzwilliam Food Testing Centre. Their laboratory test identifies food triggers using a small finger-prick blood sample, with results returned within a couple of weeks and reviewed with you in a follow-up session.

When the digestive system can no longer process certain foods, the unprocessed material can lead to a build-up of intestinal toxins. Over time these can cross into the bloodstream and contribute to inflammation in distant tissues — joints, skin, sinuses, brain. The test identifies which foods are creating this load so they can be removed long enough for the gut to settle and heal.

A nutritional plan is provided to support the elimination, healing and reintroduction phases, whether you are testing 200 foods or the shorter 93-food panel.

Bloating, cramping, IBS-type symptoms, chronic fatigue, headaches and migraines, eczema and other skin issues, sinus congestion, joint pain, mood swings, weight that won't shift — and the vague sense that something is just off.
